The end of January 2018 is upon us, so marks the first Blue moon, with partial lunar eclipse of this year. Also right within the 5 days of power of Imbolc. This year I have signed up for a witchy swap with a woman I met on Facebook, her name is April. So far I have made her some goodies, that I want to keep for myself. (that is how we all know they are good.) Alas she will be getting them I'm hoping she will like them. Our main coven stead, DMC in Sacred Heart Minnesota, will be holding their annual blessings of the seeds for Imbolc rite this coming weekend. The founder of will be doing her own thing while she visits family in Florida (lucky witch, lol). We, my husband and I, will be most likely do a small blessing of the seeds, and drawing down of the moon for Imbolc and blessings of the objects for the swap at home. Being in a coven full of solitary practitioners is nice. We can the flexibility of being apart of a group, or be on our own. Sharing our experiences also is encouraged. Personally speaking all depends on if I can kick this flu that has a hold on me, thankfully I'm the only one it has plagued with it.
Earlier this month I had gotten a chance to get together with the women of the coven for the now annual Goddess pajama party, we had gotten to talk about the news of the day, some politics, and what is going on in everyone's world.
My main question was what is everyone's thought about the end of the Piscean age, and or are we finished and already into the beginning stages of Aquarius?
If that question is to deep, what is going on for the Blue Moon or Imbolc?
